After you have a plan, you need to stick to that plan. This means you need to have a budget and a goal for how much money you plan to make. What is your goal for the year, and what are you going to do to get there? If you plan on working 60 hours a week for the next year, you should stick to that plan. When it comes to long term planning, even a small deviation from your plan is going to throw you off.
Develop a plan where you can feel comfortable about what you are doing. It can be something where you are going to develop a plan where the income is going to be passive income based on stocks, residual income from freelance work, or other means where you can do a job once and get money from it the rest of your life. If you enjoy working, find a job that pays you enough to invest and save your money.
Also come up with an asset plan that can help you gain wealth in other ways as well. Diversity in your plans can really help you accomplish your goals for financial security. Buying properties that you can rent out will not only gain you income, but it will help you pay off multiple homes that can yield some income upon selling if you buy in the right market.
Make a plan, stick to it and see it through for the duration. Making money can be hard, but it can be a lot easier than you think depending on some of the strategies that you come up with. It takes some dedication, but you can be living the easy life if you are willing to work your way to that level.
