Should Government Pay for all Medical Care – Yes

Should government pay for all medical care? The first thought that came to my mind, I can’t put those words in any article. Yes, they should be paying for medical care.

While our government can take our taxes and put that money towards putting our people in another country to assist them, paying for the vacations, excessive gas use of government employees and putting extra money in their pockets while there are the few well off people in the United States that can really afford Health care, Life insurance, playing with their money in the stock market, living in expensive houses, riding around in expensive toys, using their money to pay for people in other countries to receive medical care, along with giving money to allotted groups to spend as they will. The most those people have to worry about is wither or not they are going to go out that night or what they will wear the next day.

All the while, There are still a lot of people in the United States that are barely making ends meet, or are homeless, having children and the cost with that as well, working full time jobs with little pay, living with bad health, in need of dental assistance, cost of surgeries that come up out of the blue or just the every day check ups that are needed.
Yet, instead of being able to go to the doctor these people have to decide which they need more and which can they afford? The choice seems so easy to a few of us, Diapers for the baby or going to the dentist to pull the abscess tooth that you have been dealing with for months. I know that when it comes to that choice I would choose to get the diapers and live with the pain of the tooth until a later time. That is not the only decisions that have to be made on a daily basis for many people.

I know a lady, which is retired and barely makes enough to cover her medical care, medicine, and still be able to live. She has lost all her teeth and does not have the money to cover the cost of implants or falsies, so she has lived many years with all of her teeth gone. She is on what is considered to be a fixed income, however $500.00 dollars does not stressed as far as most of us would like. Of course she could benefit from all her medical care being paid for without question.

What about the family that is trying to get off of government assistance, both parents working? Yet, the more the parents make the more the government wants to receive.
While their children receive medical coverage. The parents do without.

A woman receives Medicaid while she is pregnant and for a short while after she has the baby. Then she can apply for Medicaid after that and usually can receive Medicaid. I think that the men should be included on this as well. We as a country need to make sure that the people that live in our back yard, our neighbors, friends, relatives should be taken care of. If we as a government are willing to care for those that are not living in the United States, all of the illegal immigrants and their families, spending money on other things rather than pay off the deficit, then they can pay medical care without raising the cost of everything else.

The government needs to realize that if we take care of our own, then we will have healthier people and add to the work force as a whole. Which also means the government would earn more money.
